    Dr. Michel Cannarsa is Associate Professor at the Catholic University of Lyon Faculty of Law. He received his PhD from Université Jean Moulin - Lyon 3 and from Turin University in 2003. His areas of research are International and European Law, Commercial Law, Comparative Law, Consumer Law, Law of Obligations and Legal Translation.
    He is regularly involved in European and International research programmes (e.g. the Uniform Terminology for European Private Law and the Consumer Law Compendium project).
    Currently, he is the Academic Director of the Master of International Business Law at the Catholic University of Lyon Faculty of Law and is also a member of the Law School's Academic Board, dealing more specifically with International Relations.
    Areas of research are International and European Law Commercial Law, Comparative Law, Consumer Law, Law of Obligations and Legal Translation.
