Biography

Ann O'Shea has a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame Indiana. She began her career by  working in the area of Value Distribution Theory in Several Complex Variables. Currently her research interests lie in Mathematics Education. Ongoing research projects include: investigating concept formation; the role of technology in formative assessment; task design; measuring the effectiveness of mathematics support.
