Following our recent contribution to the Oireachtas Banking Inquiry and our ongoing involvement in the Low Pay Commission, Maynooth Economists continue to play a key role in influencing and shaping Economic and Social Policy in Ireland. On Thursday 24th November, Dr. Aedín Doris, a labour market expert in the Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting, provided expert testimony to the Oireachtas Committee on Education and Skills on the role of income contingent loans in financing Higher Education in Ireland.
