Dr. Amina Adanan presents at Interdisciplinary Conference on 70th Anniversary of the Genocide Convention

Dr Amina Adanan presented a paper at the conference on the 70th Anniversary of the Genocide Convention, which took place in the University of Nottingham on 9 November. The paper was entitled, ‘The Genocide Convention at 70 and the Universality Principle’, and was on the topic of the development of universal criminal jurisdiction over the crime of genocide. The conference took place in the Nottingham International Law and Security Centre in the University of Nottingham.

The Department of Biology has applied for an Athena SWAN Bronze Department Award in the November 2018 round. Biology is the first Department in Maynooth University to apply for accreditation.
