Exciting new electives in Digital Humanities will be on offer for the first time to visiting international students from September 2017. The new electives introduce students to the dynamic field of Digital Humanities which is changing the nature of traditional research and practice by using new, digital tools and methods (2D and 3D visualisation, augmented and virtual reality, serious games, crowdsourcing, text encoding) to capture, model, analyse, and disseminate the past. Digital Humanities is a fast-growing dynamic interdisciplinary field at the cutting edge of 21st century research methods, combining practices and traditions from the various disciplines of the humanities, computer science, information management, design, cultural and heritage studies.
