The Forum’s 15th annual conference on Education Abroad, “Broadening the circle of education abroad”, was held last week in Denver, Colorado. International Officers, Jodi Killackey and Ben Finnegan attended the conference. The Forum provides an opportunity for professionals in the field to meet, discuss partnerships and attend sessions. Jodi and Ben met with a number of partners including, Loyola University Chicago, Texas Tech University, Carroll University, Towson University, University of Kentucky and University of North Texas. Session topics ranged from freshman abroad programs to student athletes abroad, as well as health, safety and security of study abroad. Being in Denver also allowed for a site visit to two partners, Regis University and University of Denver.
