A delegation from Indonesia came to Ireland to visit Irish University Campuses from the 27th to the 31st of January. They are members of the Directorate General of Resources for Science, Technology and Higher Education (DIKTI) from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia.
The purpose of the visit was to discover Irish University campuses and discuss PhD Education. The delegation came to Maynooth University (MU) on the Tuesday 29th of January and MU International Office along with Sinead Lucy from IUA organised their visit.
The meeting was very productive and it is hoped that this visit will lead to academic collaboration between DIKTI and MU.
The University would be delighted to welcome PhD students from Indonesia in the future.
