Postgraduate programmes: IELTS 6.5 overall or equivalent. Please note our Business degrees require an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with 6.0 in the reading & writing components or equivalent. Please note our MSc in Immunology & Global Health requires an overall IELTS 7.0 with 7.0 in the writing component & 6.5 in the other components. Undergraduate programmes: 6.0 IELTS or equivalent overall score for Science and Engineering programmes 6.5 IELTS or equivalent overall score for all other undergraduate programmes. In programmes where there is currently an IELTS requirement of 6.0, we will require a score of 100 on Duolingo. Where there is an IELTS requirement of 6.5, we will require a score of 110 on Duolingo. Where there is an IELTS requirement of 7.0, we will require a score of 120 on Duolingo.

You may require an entry visa for Ireland. You can check the Irish Immigration Service website to see if you require a visa. You may also find details on how to apply for your student visa on that website. We strongly recommend you start your visa application as early as possible in order to avoid delays. Visa processing times will differ for everybody, so you should apply as early as possible. Your visa checklist • Two coloured passport sized photographs not more than 6 months old. More details on specifications can be found here. • Provide your signed and dated summary application form and the appropriate fee (where applicable). • Letter of acceptance from college. • Evidence of fee payment to college. • Evidence of level of English such as IELTS, TOEFL or PTE. • You must show that you have enough funds to support your stay in Ireland. This includes the evidence that you must submit with your visa application. • Private Medical Insurance - All non-EEA students are required to have private medical insurance when coming to and residing in Ireland for the purpose of study.
