    I have made so many friends while studying for my degree in Maynooth, as it was a relatively small town so everyone knows everyone. The course was challenging but the qualification was well recognized in Ireland. If you are coming to study in Maynooth University, you have to come and visit the “Roost”. I used to work in that bar and it’s the best bar in Maynooth.​
    The qualification I got from Maynooth University has helped to secure my interview with PwC. Obviously you need to prepare in terms of the interview skills and how best to sell yourself, but I would say that the colleague name itself has certainly gave me a bit of edge in the eyes of the HR people in PwC. 
    I stayed in Ireland after I graduated from Maynooth University  as I was able to secure a trainee accountant position with PwC. Now I am a qualified accountant and been working with PwC for almost 5 years. The experience I have gained while working in PwC is priceless and I am very much looking forward to the next challenge.
    To the present students, I would like to say that you have made a good decision to join Maynooth University  to peruse your degree as it is a very well recognized institution. If you study hard enough to get a good results it will most certainly help you to secure interviews for the companies which you might be interested in. Please try to mix study with leisure, and go out for a few drinks with your classmates; it’s nice to enjoy the social life.
