Dr Emer Nestor
About
Dr Emer Nestor is the current EDI Data Analyst at Maynooth University. She is responsible for leading on the identification, gathering and analysis of EDI/widening participation student and staff data to inform strategy and reporting.
Previous to this role, Emer was the University Curriculum Researcher at Maynooth University, where she steered and implemented an extensive monitoring and evaluation project in relation to the revised undergraduate curriculum.
Emer has held teaching positions in the Music Departments of Maynooth University, Mater Dei Institute of Education, and Newpark Academy of Music. Her academic qualifications include: Double Hons BA in English and Music; Masters in Historical Studies; PhD in Music; Associate Teaching Diploma in Piano; and Licentiate Teaching Diploma in Piano.
Emer is certified in GDPR for Research and Higher Education.
