The NUI Travelling Doctoral Studentships offered in Sciences and Engineering include all branches of Sciences, Engineering and Architecture. Interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary Studentships are eligible and encouraged to apply.

Prize: Professor Fionntán de Brún (Dept of Irish) has won the Gradam Úrscéalaíochta an Oireachtais
Fionntán de Brún has won the first prize in the Oireachtas na Gaeilge novel competition for his work Béal na Péiste. As a scholar, de Brún is best known until now as Professor of Modern Irish at the University of Maynooth.
