The Conferring Ceremony for the Think About Teaching Class of 2020 took place on-line on Friday, November 27th. A record number of students (29) graduated from the programme, which is now into its third year. While circumstances did not allow us to celebrate in person; family, friends, staff and supporters joined on-line to share in the tremendous achievements of the students. An-bhródúil asaibh go léir. Guím gach rath oraibh don todhchaí!

Think About Teaching is a one-year Foundation Couse for Initial Teacher Education, which prepares students from under-represented groups for entry to teaching degrees at primary and post-primary level in Maynooth University. The programme is funded by the HEA and Maynooth University and is a collaborative initiative that is supported by the Department of Adult and Community Education, Froebel Department of Primary and Early Childhood Education, MU Department of Education, Lárionad na Gaeilge, Department of Applied Social Studies and Maynooth Access Programme. The programme is also supported by a range of school, further education, and community based partners, that continue to support the students into and through the programme and onto initial teacher education.
