    EVENT 16: Mar 23 | Golf Scholarships & Participation

    Barry Fennelly is the Golf Manager and manages the Golf Scholarship programme. Barry and students discussed how Maynooth University, in association with Carton House, Oceanico Group, the Golfing Union of Ireland and the R&A are offering top amateur golfers the opportunity to combine a high performance training & competition schedule with study for an internationally recognised degree course.

    EVENT 15: Mar 11 | HEAR DARE & Maynooth Access Programme

    Gemma Lynch is an Outreach Officer with the MAP (Maynooth Access Programme) Outreach Team with the objective of supporting the access, retention, and success of under-represented learners in higher education. This involves promoting opportunities and pathways to progress to HE and providing targeted information and advice to prospective students and their families to support them to successfully navigate third level systems.

    EVENT 8: Jan 26 | GAA Sport Scholarship & Participation

    Jenny Duffy is the GAA Development Officer and manages the High Performance Scholarship programme and GAA club operations.

    In Maynooth University there are opportunities for both elite and non-elite players to participate in Gaelic games and to represent the university in higher education competitions. The GAA Club is the largest club on campus with 15 teams in operation. There are opportunities for students to get involved in club committees, video analysis & stats roles, coaching and promotional roles.
