MSc in IT-Enabled Innovation Shortlisted for Postgraduate Course of the Year Award

The School of Business is delighted to announce that our MSc in IT-Enabled Innovation has been shortlisted for a Higher Education Award(Postgraduate Course of the year) in the Business, Finance and Management category. This is a great achievement by everyone involved in the course, especially the Programme Director, Dr Roger Sweetman. We would also like to thank our alumni whose incredible career progress and positive testimonies helped endorse our nomination. In 2017, 100% of graduates found employment with 83% of our graduates in  senior managerial positions
 
This year, our completely redesigned programme has grown to over 30 participants, maintaining a high standard for entrants and attracting students from a wide range of backgrounds including Business, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Economics and Arts.
 
The reputation of the MSc IT Enabled Innovation has grown both domestically and internationally as evidenced by the steady growth in numbers since its inception. The programme has close links with internationally recognised research centres such as the Innovation Value Institute (IVI) and SFI funded Centre of Excellence, LERO.
 
Dr Niall Connolly, Research Fellow at the IVI has endorsed the MSc IT Enabled Innovation, saying “The MSc IT Enabled Innovation in Maynooth University equips graduates with the knowledge acquired from the most innovative IT companies in the world. Graduates from this course have transferrable skills that enable them to take leadership roles in any organisation that uses IT to innovate.

The gradireland Higher Education Awards & Symposium 2019 will take place on 23 November 2018 in the Crowne Plaza Dublin.
