'Better than any consultancy I've seen'
That was the verdict of Toyota (Ireland) Head of Innovation, Aidan Connolly when presented with the ideas of the Maynooth University Design Innovation MSc students on May 11th. Toyota have launched a car-sharing service called Yuko in Ireland and the students, for their module on Consumer Adoption and Diffusion of Innovation worked on ways to accelerate the growth of this service in Dublin. They presented their work, in three teams, to the CEO, The marketing director, the head of innovation and the sales director in Toyota and received a tremendous reception. Toyota considered their work to be on par with some of the well known design consultancies with whom they've worked before. Congratulations to the students on the high quality work - they were amazing!
