This Postgraduate Certificate addresses the needs of FET staff and other educators tasked with responsibility for redesign of existing or development of new education and training programmes including traineeship and apprenticeship programmes.

 

Applicants must have a recognised primary degree which is considered equivalent to Irish university primary degree level.

Minimum English language requirements: please visit Maynooth University International Office website for information about English language tests accepted and required scores. The requirements specified are applicable for both EU and non-EU applicants.

The programme is offered part-time over two semesters.  It will be delivered online and in five day long workshops. Adult education participative and dialogical methodologies will be used for delivery both online and in workshops. The online dimension will be interactive and include activities that enhance student leaning through active participation in webinars, discussion forums and other exercises

Course Duration: 1 year Part-time

It is intended that completion of the programme will enhance participants’ employability and promotion prospects in the FET sector generally.
