The Placement Team at Maynooth University places students to gain work experience as a requirement of their degree. Placement involves interacting with students, faculty, and companies. The placement partners that Maynooth University has built up a close relationship with over the years include: Multinationals, Semi-State Bodies, Government Departments and International companies and institutes.

The Graduate Studies Office host a specific Postgraduate Open Evening each year. In addition, to this there are information sessions and an information stand for prospective Postgraduate students at each of the University Open Days.
