Student Skills and Success
Accommodation
Maynooth Student Residences offers full-time registered students of Maynooth University and St Patrick’s Pontifical University a licenced rental arrangement. Please consider carefully all your options before booking a term-time room in the Student Residences.
- If you are interested in on-campus accommodation, make sure to review the key dates and details for new undergraduate students (CAO first years).
- A virtual self-guided tour of campus accommodation is available here.
- For the most up-to-date information, please make sure to visit the MU Student Residences website. Be sure to bookmark this link to revisit later on as more information is posted over the summer: https://www.maynoothuniversity.ie/student-residences
Temporary and Short-Stay Accommodation
This accommodation is suited to students who don’t require accommodation for 7 days a week. Bookings are made through Maynooth Conference and Campus Accommodation. Visit maynoothcampus.com for further information. Their offices are located on the South Campus.
Off-Campus Accommodation
Maynoothstudentpad.ie is a website where local landlords advertise accommodation and where you can view listings of accommodation in the local area which are being offered to First Year Students as well as continuing students.
- On the date the CAO Round 1 offers are issued (27 August 2025), an email will be sent to all students who receive an academic offer for Maynooth, providing access details – including the guest password – for the Maynoothstudentpad.ie site. This email will be sent directly from MaynoothStudentpad ([email protected]).
- This is an automatic process, and it is important to note that the email will be sent to the email address provided in the CAO application, so please ensure you have access to this mailbox.
- For further information and off-campus accommodation updates, please visit the mu.ie/mupad website.
- MaynoothStudentpad is accessible by students of Maynooth University and St Patrick’s Pontifical University only.
Top Tip! It is likely that you will want to review the online listings before traveling to Maynooth to view accommodation. To get the most from your accommodation search you will firstly need to contact landlords and make some appointments.
