All residents can log maintenance issues directly to maintenance through the university's facilities management system.
You may be able to go directly to the log a call page and if so please skip to step 3 but if not please follow the steps 1 +2 below
1. Go to the facilities management page online .
You will see the following page:

DO NOT NEED TO LOGIN to the system. Please ignore this as it is for administrators only.
2. Click on the spanner icon
If you can't see the spanner, try refreshing the page or use a different browser.
Once you click on this, a
log a call window will pop up.
If this doesn't happen, check if you have a pop up blocker preventing this.
3. Fill in the call details in the pop up window as follows
How to Log a Maintenance Request
PLEASE NOTE: If you do not fill in all details fully (e.g. location, description etc..) your call may not get logged and will result in maintenance being unable to deal with your issue.
Gas boilers are used for heating in the river apartments and courtyard apartments.
The same types of control panels are in both complexes.
Boilers are programmed to come on twice a day but extra heating can be turned on by pressing the boost buttons.
To get extra heating or hot water outside these times, have a look at the video for instructions or the instructions on the wall in each apartment.
Water is normally heated by the gas boiler in the river apartments.
There is an immersion that heats water with electricity as back up.
