We are seeking a post-doctoral researcher to work on a one-year project on Gambling and Problem Gambling in Ireland funded by the Gambling Awareness Trust (Ireland).
The Department of Sociology proposes to hire one Post-Doctoral Researcher to work with two Senior staff to gather the available quantitative and qualitative evidence on gambling, problem gambling and gambling supports and policies internationally and in Ireland. The aim is to produce a ‘state of the art’ report, which can inform the policy and strategy decisions of key stakeholders in the near future.
The successful candidate may also be offered the opportunity to contribute to the teaching activities within the department corresponding to their own interests, knowledge, and experience.
