Social Justice Week

Social Justice Week runs all this week from Monday, 26-February to Friday the 2-March.
 
Some highlights include :
1. Documentary about holocaust survivor Tomi Reichental, Condemned to Remember, Monday 26th 6.30pm, in JH1, with Tomi Reichental.
2. Ian Gough lecture: Heat, Greed and Human Need, JH2 on 26th Feb at 6pm.
3. Climate justice - interdisciplinary challenges panel on Tuesday 27th  at 10am in the Library. 
 
A number or lecturers have set up special classes as part of existing modules, which they have kindly opened to other students and staff - see the calendar of events.
 
MUSSI have linked with Social Justice Week with Societal Challenges Research Day, Wednesday 28th Feb. 2-5.15pm. Dr. Aphra Kerr and Dr. Paul Ryan from Sociology will present on their ongoing research work. 

The UDHR is celebrating its 70th anniversary and is a theme of Social Justice Week this year. There is a slide-show on the Social Justice website of  the Universal Declaration of Human Rights articles and you can list back to E. Roosevelt reading them.
