Craig Dwyer to give guest lecture on Social Media for Social Change

We are delighted to announce that Craig Dwyer, who has worked on the Transparent Referendum Initiative and was Social Media Director for Yes Equality, has agreed to come speak to the MA Internet and Society class on the 6th of Dec., 15-17.00 in the Iontas Seminar Room.

Bio: Craig Dwyer is a digital campaigns and communications expert. He previously worked as the Social Media Director for Yes Equality during the marriage equality referendum, as Newstalk's first Social Media Manager and he travelled to Australia in 2017 to work on their marriage equality campaign. Most recently, Craig co-founded the Transparent Referendum Initiative which advocated for increased transparency of online political ads during the 8th Amendment Referendum. He is also a founder of forachange.org – which aims to help activists and organisations to design and implement an effective digital strategy for achieving progressive social change.
