Sociology Success in HEA ‘Shared Island’ research programme

MU research recommends ‘family’ approach within mental health services
New research by the Maynooth University Centre for Mental Health and Community Research has recommended the development of a ‘whole of family’ approach within mental health services, including automatic consideration of children when a parent has a mental health illness.

€2.4 million ERC award to MU Prof Rob Kitchin for research on Irish property data
Maynooth University researcher, Professor Rob Kitchin has been awarded a €2.4 million European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grant for his groundbreaking project that will document in detail property data for Dublin and examine how these data are used as an evidence base for public policy, planning, and commercial decision-making.
