Maynooth University is home to several of Ireland’s leading experts in the fields of spatial planning, (sub) urban development, housing, public policy, social justice and rights. The formation of the Housing Justice Research Group represents a timely attempt to harness this expertise in order to address one of the most fundamental challenges that currently faces Irish society.
A unique collaboration between Maynooth academics and students, the Maynooth University Housing Justice Research Group will seek to generate information about and propose solutions to an escalating housing crisis that is as dramatically apparent here in the town of Maynooth as it is throughout the rest of the country.
