VALUES MAY BE THE CLUE TO BUILDING GREENER BUSINESSES

Tuesday, June 2, 2020 - 13:00

Following the recent publication of their paper on Individual Values and SME Environmental Engagement in Business & Society, Anja Schaefer (Maynooth University), Sarah Williams (University of Lancashire), Richard Blundel (Open University), they have published a post entitled: Values May Be the Clue to Greener Business on the Business & Society blog.

Both the paper and the blog argue that SMEs’ engagement with key environmental challenges, particularly the climate emergency, is strongly shaped by the values held by SME managers and that working with these values is key to public policy aiming to increase SME environmental engagement.
