Tadhg Ryan Charleton, a John and Pat Hume PhD Scholar at the School of Business, has been awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship.

Tadhg will visit the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech for one year. Sponsored by Enterprise Ireland, he will build and extend his PhD research on innovation performance in knowledge sharing alliances between competitors.

Tadhg’s PhD is supervised by Professor Robert Galavan, the Founding Head of the School of Business and Chair in Strategic Management.

Established in 1946, the Fulbright Program supports outstanding researchers, ambassadors, and leaders from all over the world to spend time at a U.S. university. Tadhg’s award marks the second consecutive year a PhD student from the School has received a Fulbright Scholarship following Ciarán McFadden’s NUI Award in 2015/16.
