Maynooth University Team participate in the 2020 ESB Inter-Colleges Challenge

Thursday, November 19, 2020 - 14:00

The annual #ESB Inter-Colleges Challenge  @ESBGroup is underway on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th November 2020. This year’s team-based case competition takes place entirely online/remotely, to further test the students’ team-working, engineering and business competencies.

Best of luck to the Maynooth University team @MaynoothUni), consisting of four students across Engineering, Product Design and Business @MU_Business, as well as to their mentors Dr Marian Crowley-Henry (School of Business) @marianchenry, Dr John Dooley (Engineering Dept) and Dr Martin Ryan (Product Design Dept). It is the first time a Maynooth University School of Business student has joined the Maynooth University team going forward to represent the University in the case competition.
Special best wishes to our own School of Business student – Jessica Sheridan (2nd year student on the BBS International Business programme). The competition consists of an 8-hour intensive case study analysis, culminating in the submission of a presentation at the end of day one. That presentation and innovation/product/service pitch is then orally presented on day 2, with the winners announced at the end of the day. There are nine universities/institutes of technology involved in this year’s competition. Wishing all those involved a great learning experience!
