Dr Moran Writes Piece on Branding for RTÉ Brainstorm

Dr Gillian Moran has written a piece on branding for RTÉ Brainstorm, called ‘Brand it like Beckham’.
 
The piece tells you all you ever wanted to know about branding, the process of creating an identity or an image for a product so that it occupies a distinct position in a marketplace. Gillian discusses personal branding, viral marketing, and social media influencers.
 
Gillian is a Lecturer in the School of Business, where she lectures in various modules on Marketing. Her research interests principally lie in the area of social media marketing and her research focuses on investigating the strategic use of brand communications within the social media environment. Additionally, she is interested in the complementary research area of electronic word-of-mouth and its strategic implications for brands.
