Spatial Planning and Human Geography: A Celebration of the Scholarship of Professor Jim Walsh

Please join us for this academic event celebrating the work and contribution of our colleague Professor Jim Walsh on the occasion of his retirement. Jim has been a full-time academic in Irish universities for some 43 years, 31 of them at Maynooth. He has been integral to a very large share of the innovative and expansionary developments at Maynooth and has written over 100 papers in contributing to academic self- governance at Maynooth University. A founder member of the National Institute for Regional and Spatial Analysis and a principal architect of Ireland's National Spatial Strategy, Jim has authored over 180 academic publications.
