Oireachtas Committee on Foreign Affairs Report on equitable global access to COVID-19 vaccines recommends Ireland endorse C-TAP - Dr Aisling McMahon quoted in this Report.
The Oireachtas Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence published a report on 11th March 2021, on the ‘Distribution of Vaccines to Developing Countries’ which recommended that the Irish government should formally endorse the World Health Organisation’s Covid-19 Technology Access Pool (C-TAP).

Dr Donal Coffey spoke on the topic of the drafting of the Burmese independence constitution in 1947 an interdisciplinary discussion on "The Historical Context of the Myanmar Crisis" hosted by the Edinburgh Centre for Constitutional Law and the Keith Forum on Commonwealth Constitutionalism.

Dr Amina Adanan awarded Charlemont Grant from the Royal Irish Academy
Dr Amina Adanan of the Maynooth University Law Department has been awarded the Charlemont Grant from the Royal Irish Academy. The funding is for a project entitled ‘What can the United Nations War Crimes Commission teach us about the principle of universal jurisdiction today?’, which analyses the exercise of the principle of universal jurisdiction under the United Nations War Crimes Commission (UNWCC). Thousands of domestic prosecutions of international crimes took place after the Second World War under the UNWCC, which operated between 1943-48.
