On October, 16 the Department hosted the Welcome Online Event of PhD in Law Programme. The event, which aimed to give PhD students important information and guidance on the key stages of the research journey, was organized by the PG Research Committee and chaired by Prof. Delia Ferri (Director of the PhD in Law). During the current pandemic and time of uncertainty, the event offered the opportunity to all PhD students enrolled in the programme to gather together virtually and discuss various aspects of the PhD programme. This year speakers included Dr. Noelle Higgins and Dr. Neil Maddox, and the invited keynote speaker was Prof. Caterina Sganga (Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna- Pisa), Coordinator of the project ReCreating Europe, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. Prof. Sganga gave an insightful presentation titled “After the PhD? The Role of Post-Docs in EU Projects and Career Options".
