Dr Brian Flanagan has received funding under the MU Social Sciences Institute and Faculty of Social Science Small Grants Scheme
Brian's project is entitled 'The Experimental Jurisprudence of Rules’, and is a collaborative research project with Guilherme de Almeida and Noel Struchiner of PUC-Rio and Ivar Hannikainen of the University of Granada. The project will use social scientific methods to investigate contested philosophical questions concerning the relation between legal and moral normativity.

Dr Edana Richardson and Dr Aisling McMahon have been awarded funding under the Maynooth University Social Sciences Institute (MUSSI) and Faculty of Social Sciences, Co-funded Small Grants Scheme 2021 for a project examining “Social and Sustainability Bonds –Funding a more sustainable future for healthcare?”

Dr Rosie Gowran member of the Assisted Living and Learning (ALL) Institute, Maynooth University has a new paper published and features on the front cover of, International Journal of environmental Research and Public Health, entitled ‘Octopus Watch Fosters Family Resilience by Enhancing Occupational Engagement for Children with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus: Pilot Study’. The article is featured as the cover page for the Special Issue Assistive Technologies for Children, Young People and Adults.
