MU projects receive IRC ‘New Foundations’ Awards

Ten Maynooth University research projects are to receive funding from the Irish Research Council (IRC). Funding for the ‘New Foundations’ projects will bring researchers and community/voluntary organisations together to share knowledge and develop new insights to help create a better society for all.

Prof Michael Doherty nominated to chair group to review the industrial relations & collective bargaining landscape in Ireland

Prof Michael Doherty has been nominated by Tánaiste and Employment Minister Leo Varadkar to Chair a high-level group to review the industrial relations and collective bargaining landscape in Ireland. The group will examine collective bargaining, union recognition and will seek to "examine the adequacy of the workplace relations framework" around pay and conditions.
