H2020 RISE funding has been awarded to academic staff from Maynooth University, UCD, University of Reading and other non-academic partners.

Dr Etain Quigley, Dr David Doyle and Dr Louise Kennefick of Maynooth Law have been successful in securing funding under the Marie Curie RISE H2020 scheme, for the project entitled CareHD

Dr Quigley is the lead researcher on  work package 1 and will oversee the collection of care pathway data across three jurisdictions. Dr Quigley and Dr Kennefick will be responsible for drafting an ethics and data protection protocol with a particular focus upon 'new age ethics' -  the management of sensitive data when using technology and the role of contemporary regulations.

Dr Doyle is lead on work package 2 and will oversee the collection of lived experience data across three jurisdictions.

There are currently eight partners, spanning academic, NGO and industry, across four jurisdictions.
