What can managers learn from theatre improvisation?

Do you think theatre sounds too far from management? Not necessarily. Dr Tatiana Andreeva from Maynooth University School of Business, together with her co-authors Dr Anna-Maija Nisula and Dr Aino Kianto from Lappeenranta University of Technology (Finland), interviewed theatre directors and actors about their use of improvisational techniques and found some interesting ideas that managers may find useful in order to stimulate creativity and innovation in their organisations.
