Dr Olga Ryazanova, in collaboration with Dr Jolanta Jaskiene from ISM University of Management and Economics in Lithuania, has reviewed empirical research on organisational factors behind individual performance of academic scientists. This review seeks to help supporting research activities in academic institutions and provides action-oriented insights for decision-makers who manage research and for individual scientists.
