The Economic and Social Review is inviting papers for a special issue on the economic and societal effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the Special Issue is to present papers relevant for understanding the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on areas including but not limited to: individuals and families, inequality, the labour market, firms, the macro-economy, the public finances, social relations, regions, sectors, the environment and behaviour. Academic research is needed to help inform the policy debate and ultimately to improve our understanding of policy options.
We are looking for papers to be submitted by 15th January 2021.The papers will be subject to an expedited review process and those that are accepted will be published in mid-2021.
