Welcome to the 16th annual Psychology, Health and Medicine Conference
We are delighted to announce that the 16th annual Psychology, Health and Medicine Conference will take place in Maynooth University on Friday 22 March 2019. This event is hosted by the Division of Health Psychology of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) in association with the Division of Health Psychology of the British Psychological Society, Northern Ireland Branch.
Sponsored by the Health Research Board, the Psychology, Health and Medicine Conference continues to be a key annual event for people working in the areas of psychology and health in Ireland, Northern Ireland and further afield. The aim of this conference is to promote health psychology and provide a forum to share findings from high-quality innovative research on psychology and health. The conference attracts a broad audience of practitioners and researchers in psychology, health and cognate fields, and provides an excellent opportunity to build and strengthen professional networks.
This event has been approved by the Psychological Society of Ireland for 4 CPD credits.

We are now accepting abstracts for oral and poster presentations. The submission deadline is January 25 2019. Please complete the PHM 2019_abstract submission form and send to email@example.com
We encourage submissions under the headings Psychology in Action and Research in Development. Psychology in Action is a forum to share examples of good practice and have an opportunity to engage in useful dialogue with colleagues; the essential element for this type of submission, therefore, is that it must have a base in practice. Research in Development provides a forum to present research in planning phase, and should include a literature review, study rationale and outline the study proposal; however, data is not required for this type of submission. Both Psychology in Action and Research in Development will be considered for poster presentations.
We would be happy to receive ideas for symposia. If you would like to present a symposium, please forward your ideas to firstname.lastname@example.org
