The 2025 Arts & Minds festival takes place from May 8-10 and features a diverse programme of cultural events from Ireland and beyond.

275 cyclists, 45 support crew and 30 collectors departed Maynooth University at 6.30am this morning, to cycle the return journey to Galway and raise funds for The Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Golf - Maynooth University Golf Scholar denied Spanish Amateur Championship
Maynooth University Golf scholar, Gary Hurley was two up with three holes to play and looked in pole position to clinch the title when his opponent Jeroen Krietemeijer of the Netherlands went birdie-eagle to level the match and stole the win at the penultimate hole.

'Swim for a Mile' challenge launched on campus
Maynooth Swim School announced details of its annual ‘Swim for a Mile Challenge’. The project will challenge students, staff and members of the public to swim a mile, culminating with the swim on Friday, 22 May.

Hockey Mixed Intervarsities
The format for this year's tournament divided the teams into two groups, with one group winner taking home the cup and the other winning the plate. Maynooth were drawn into the plate group and started confidently on Monday with a 4-1 win over co-hosts Athlone IT.
