Minister of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science James Lawless opened Maynooth University’s Digital Health Summer School which unveiled Mission 10X, a new vision for digital health in Ireland, outlined with demonstrations of 10 healthcare innovations that could revolutionise the Irish healthcare system.

IRISH RESEARCH TEAM SHINES LIGHT ON MALE INFERTILITY
A research team led by Professor Kay Ohlendieck from Maynooth University ’s Department of Biology has determined the molecular mechanisms of a particular form of sperm abnormalities called globozoospermia and found that the abnormal morphology of sperm cells plays a crucial role in infertility.
