New MA in Chinese Studies commencing September 2016

We are delighted to announce our new MA in Chinese Studies commencing September 2016. This is a one year, full-time taught Masters for who already have a background in Chinese language and culture at undergraduate level. The MA will provide students with an opportunity to specialise in an area of cultural and literary analysis with particular emphasis on the conflict and communication within the Sinosphere (mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau) and between China and the West.

The conference was jointly organised by Dr. Lu Zhouxiang, Chinese Studies in the School of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures and The International Journal of the History of Sport (IJHS).
