First Arts at Kilkenny (MH901) offers students the opportunity to take the first year in Kilkenny of the three year Bachelor of Arts degree. Students progress to the main Campus in Maynooth for second and third year. The small class sizes and the opportunity to study in the historic city of Kilkenny has proven to be very popular with students and numbers are increasing significantly each year.
As on the Kildare campus; students take up to four subjects with not more than one subject from each group, following the same first year programme as their counterparts on the Maynooth campus.
