Based on the work of Ms Lauren Moore, one of our MSc graduates, Dr Ali Nazarpour presented an academic paper at 2021 Irish Academy of Management conference. This study investigates the relationship between industry 4.0 and Mass Customisation by identifying the main components of industry 4.0, and how these components enable Mass Customisation. Additionally, it offers a set of Mass Customisation enablement practices that are used both internationally and by Irish manufactures in response to pandemic disruptions.
