Dr Derek Barter (Department of Adult and Community Education) and Jennifer Lloyd Hughes, Civic Engagement Coordinator with MU’s Experiential Learning Office will launch the MU involvement in the Foundations for Futures Europe (FFE) project on 19 Nov. 2021. Maynooth University as the lead partner will host our colleagues from the university of Novi Sad, Serbia; The European Anti-Poverty Network, Ireland; The Hellenic Anti-Poverty Network, Greece; Pecs University, Hungary and URKRAFT, Sweden at the opening symposium. The event will be addressed by the new President of Maynooth University Prof. Eeva Leinonen and will be followed by key note addresses on Climate, Equality and Social Inclusion. In the afternoon a number of parallel workshops on various themes including Migration, Education, Disability and Climate will bring our partners and Maynooth university academics together to begin what we hope will be a long and fruitful conversion to inform EU policy for the coming decades.  Admission Free to book your place click HERE.
