Maynooth Campus (Maynooth University & St. Patrick's College) have been a Fairtrade campus providing fairtrade products for a long time. Nevertheless, this coming Fairtrade Fortnight we want to bring awareness of the importance of fairtrade products and practices for a sustainable world!
Our key commodities grew overall by 11% in 2018 to reach an impressive €382 million in Fairtrade sales reflecting approximately €2 million gain in premium to farmers. Coffee led the way with 28% growth! (Fairtrade Ireland, 2020)
There will be FREE coffee/tea, fruit and treats for everyone!
