An exciting recital of traditional Irish music from the renowned champion fiddler and member of We Banjo 3. Accompanied by Ryan Molloy (piano).

Multi-instrumentalist Fergal Scahill is one of the most renowned fiddlers in Irish music today. He is most widely known as the fiddler in award-winning band We Banjo 3 but his career has spanned over 20 years, performing thousands of shows in more than 30 countries worldwide. An accomplished musician on many instruments, he has won All-Ireland titles of fiddle, bodhrán, guitar and drums. Fergal has recorded on more than 40 albums, including two of his own, Wayfaring, released in 2011, and The Dusty Bridge, recorded with Irish composer and pianist Ryan Molloy, in 2008. Ryan’s work has been performed to international audiences on four continents for more than fifteen years. He has recorded as accompanist on over a dozen albums and his repertoire spans numerous genres from traditional Irish music to contemporary classical music, performing with the Chieftains, David Munnelly Band, Beoga, Hard Rain Soloist Ensemble, the Ulster Orchestra and the Irish Concertina Ensemble amongst others. His compositional work has won several prizes and was recently supported by a BBC Performing Arts Fund Fellowship.
