SHAPES and Assistive Robotics for Older Care
SHAPES (Smart and Healthy Ageing through People Engaging in Supportive Systems) is an EU Horizon 2020 Action Research project led by the ALL institute that is developing a digital platform and ecosystem to support older adults ageing-in-place. As well as giving a high-level overview of the SHAPES project, I will discuss the value of fieldwork for robotics research and present some novel insights for assistive technologies and robotics for older care.
