Professor Lorraine Byrne Bodley MRIA will give a lecture at Palacky University, the Czech Republic on Tuesday, 23 October at 2.00pm. In her lecture, 'Schubert and the Allure of the Symphony' she will challenge received opinions about Schubert's contribution to this genre drawing on extensive research for her new biography of Schubert commissioned by Yale University Press.
