Professor Lorraine Byrne Bodley MRIA will give the John Bird lecture at the University of Cardiff on Tuesday, 9 October at 4.30pm. In her lecture, 'Franz Schubert and the Making of the Self' she will speak about Schubert's teenage compositions and read selected passages from her new biography of Schubert commissioned by Yale University Press.
