Brendan Kennedy is a Bachelor of Music first class honour graduate of Maynooth University, majoring in piano performance and minoring in composition. He is currently studying on the Masters in Music Performance programme in the Royal Irish Academy of Music under the tuition of Lance Coburn. Brendan has participated in various piano competitions. Most notably, he was the recipient of the Eileen and Ray Monaghan piano bursary in 2018 for his high standard performance at the Sligo Feis Ceoil.
Brendan has also participated in piano master classes with renowned pianists such as Sinae Lee, Alexander Bernstein, Therese Fahy and John O’Conor.
Brendan has wide experience in accompaniment and has worked with many ensembles both instrumental and vocal for performances within the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Maynooth University and the National Concert Hall.
